Regular Season Round 16: Primorska - Krka 67-63

One of the most interesting games of round 16 was a derby match between two teams from Slovenia. The game took place in Koper where seventh ranked Primorska won against visiting Krka (6-10) 67-63. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Slovenian center Ivan Marinkovic (207-93) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds and Alen Hodzic (191-92) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American center Marvin Jones (213-93, college: Texas Southern, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Krka's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Slovenian champion (9-7) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mornar Bar and FMP. Krka at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Igokea. Primorska will play against higher ranked Cedevita Olimpija (#3) in Ljubljana in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Krka will play on the road against Mega Bemax (#12) in Beograd and hopes to get back on the winning track.
