Regular Season Round 17: Helios Suns - Spars 77-80

Bottom-ranked Bosnian Spars managed to get a fourth victory. This time they edged sixth-ranked Slovenian Helios Suns in Domzale 80-77. The best player for the winners was Serbian-Bosnian forward Adin Vrabac (205-94) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian power forward Branislav Djekic (209-91) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Blaz Mahkovic (201-90) produced 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Spars maintains twelfth place with 4-13 record. Helios Suns at the other side keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Spars' next round opponent will be higher ranked Siroki (#3) in Siroki Brijeg and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
