Regular Season Round 17: Partizan NIS - Zadar 87-60

ABA League top team - Serbian Partizan NIS (14-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Croatian KK Zadar (4-13) in Beograd 87-60. Partizan NIS players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by KK Zadar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bosnian point guard Nemanja Gordic (193-88, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 5 points and 10 assists for the winners. Partizan NIS's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian forward Stefan Fundic (199-94, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Domagoj Vukovic (206-93) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for KK Zadar. Partizan NIS have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-3 record. KK Zadar lost third consecutive game. KK Zadar at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost.
