Important game to mention about took place in Bar. Seventh ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (10-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Serbian FMP (9-8) 85-82 on Sunday evening. Mornar Bar brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. FMP was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Montenegrin point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) nailed 15 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Georgian-American point guard Jacob Pullen (184-89, college: Kansas St.) accounted for 11 points and 5 assists. Power forward Stefan Djordjevic (203-98) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Aleksa Radanov (202-98, agency: BeoBasket) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for FMP in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mornar Bar have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Primorska and Cedevita Olimpija. FMP lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Mornar Bar will play against bottom-ranked KK Zadar (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FMP will play against Cedevita Olimpija (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
