Regular Season Round 19: FMP - Primorska 77-65

The game in Beograd was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Slovenian Primorska (11-8) played at the court of seventh ranked Serbian FMP (10-9). FMP defeated Primorska 77-65 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Primorska. FMP dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Primorska's 28. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Stefan Djordjevic (203-98) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Aleksa Radanov (202-98, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four FMP players scored in double figures. FMP's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian Marko Lukovic (207-92, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 31 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and Bosnian swingman Aleksandar Lazic (203-96, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Primorska in the defeat. FMP maintains seventh place with 10-9 record. Defending Slovenian champion Primorska dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. FMP will meet bottom-ranked KK Zadar (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Primorska will play against Cibona (#9) and hope to secure a win.
