Regular Season Round 21: Mornar Bar - Krka 82-73

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Slovenian Krka (6-15) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (13-8) 82-73. American-Montenegrin point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists for the winning side and American guard Antabia Waller (190-88, college: Auburn) accounted for 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Mornar Bar's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) came up with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: EKU, agency: 3Eye) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Krka in the defeat. Mornar Bar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cedevita Olimpija. Krka lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. Mornar Bar's next round opponent will be Mega Bemax (#10) in Beograd which should be theoretically an easy game. Krka will play at home against Cedevita Olimpija and hope to win that game.
