Regular Season Round 21: Partizan NIS - Mega Bemax 102-88

One of the most interesting games of round 21 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Beograd where first ranked Partizan NIS won against visiting Mega Bemax (6-15) 102-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mega Bemax. Partizan NIS made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Partizan NIS looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) with 21 points and 8 assists and Montenegrin center Marko Simonovic (211-99) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Five Partizan NIS and four Mega Bemax players scored in double figures. Partizan NIS have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-4 record. Loser Mega Bemax keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Zadar and Krka. Partizan NIS will meet Cibona (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mega Bemax will play against Mornar Bar and hope to secure a win.
