The most exciting game of round 21 in the ABA League took place in Ljubljana. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Montenegrin Buducnost (15-6) to fifth ranked Slovenian Cedevita Olimpija (13-8) 81-79 on Monday evening. Cedevita Olimpija made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Buducnost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Jaka Blazic (196-90) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (193-94, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Cedevita Olimpija players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 17 points and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 19 points respectively. Buducnost's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Cedevita Olimpija moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Mornar Bar. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost keeps the second position with six games lost. Cedevita Olimpija is looking forward to face Krka (#11) in Novo Mesto in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Buducnost will play at home against FMP (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
