Regular Season Round 10: Split - Krka 78-80

A very interesting game took place in Split. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 9th ranked Croatian Split (3-7) to tenth ranked Slovenian Krka (4-6) 80-78 in the fight for the eighth place. American guard Roderick Camphor (191-92, college: SWOSU) fired 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Nejc Baric (183-97) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Krka's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Serbian Marko Lukovic (207-92, agency: BeoBasket) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Toni Perkovic (191-98) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Split players scored in double figures. They have a solid three-game winning streak. Krka moved-up to eighth place. Split lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Krka's next round opponent will be higher ranked Partizan NiS (#7) in Beograd and it may be quite challenging game. Split will play on the road against Primorska in Koper and hope to win that game.
