Regular Season Round 26: Partizan NiS - Split 80-58

There was no surprise in Beograd where 13th ranked Croatian Split (8-18) was outplayed by seventh ranked Serbian Partizan NiS (13-13) 80-58 on Monday. Partizan NiS dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Split's 24. American forward Rashawn Thomas (203-94, college: TAMUCC, agency: Wasserman) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ognjen Jaramaz (193-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Partizan NiS players scored in double figures. Luka Babic (201-91, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian Marko Lukovic (207-92, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Partizan NiS have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 13-13 record. Split lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 18 games lost.
