Regular Season Round 7: Partizan NiS - FMP BG 74-69

The most interesting game of round 7 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Beograd where leader Partizan NiS won against visiting FMP BG (5-2) 74-69. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of FMP BG. American power forward Zach LeDay (202-94, college: Virginia Tech) fired 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Aleksa Avramovic (192-94, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Nigerian power forward Ebuka Izundu (208-96, college: Miami, FL) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Bryce Jones (183-94, college: Murray St.) added 15 points and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Partizan NiS (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. FMP BG at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Buducnost. Partizan NiS's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beograd to the arena Crvena Zvezda.
