Regular Season Round 8: Igokea - Mega BG 79-63

Everything could happen in Aleksandrovac at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Bosnian Igokea and 9th ranked Serbian Mega BG had identical 3-4 record. This time Igokea used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Beograd 79-63 on Sunday night. Igokea dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Mega BG's 28. Igokea forced 19 Mega BG turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by Serbian-Bosnian forward Dalibor Ilic (202-0) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian swingman Aleksa Radanov (202-98, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 14 points by Serbian guard Nikola Djurisic (203-4, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Mega BG. Polish center Aleksander Balcerowski (218-0, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Igokea (4-4) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with SC Derby. Loser Mega BG keeps the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Krka. Igokea will meet bottom-ranked Zadar (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mega BG will play against Cedevita Ol. (#5) and hope to secure a win.
