Regular Season Round 19: Igokea - FMP BG 73-61

There was a minor upset in Aleksandrovac where 4th placed Serbian FMP BG (10-7) was defeated by sixth ranked Bosnian Igokea (9-9) 73-61 on Thursday. It was a great evening for American point guard James Robinson (191-94, college: Pittsburgh) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward DeShawn Stephens (203-89, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Igokea players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Marko Radonjic (191-93) responded with 14 points and forward Nenad Nerandzic (203-96) scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Igokea maintains sixth place with 9-9 record. FMP BG lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Cedevita Ol.. Igokea will meet at home Mornar (#8) in the next round. FMP BG's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd Partizan NiS.
