Regular Season Round 8: Pelister - Mladost ZE 99-83

There was a surprise result in Bitola where twelfth ranked North Macedonian Pelister (2-6) defeated higher ranked Serbian Mladost ZE (6-3) 99-83 on Sunday. Pelister looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Igor Kesar (210-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Serbian forward Nikola Malesevic (202-89, college: URI) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Pelister players scored in double figures. Andrija Bojic (206-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Otis Livingston II (180-96, college: GMU) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pelister maintains twelfth position with 2-6 record. Loser Mladost ZE dropped to the third place with three games lost. Pelister will meet Rogaska (#13) in the next round. Mladost ZE will play against Osijek (#14) and hope to secure a win.
