Regular Season Round 21: Mega BG - Igokea 71-81

Not a big story in a game in Belgrade where 8th ranked Serbian Mega BG (8-12) was defeated by sixth ranked Bosnian Igokea (11-9) 81-71 on Sunday. Igokea looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Igokea made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Serbian swingman Aleksa Radanov (201-1998, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian-Bosnian forward Marko Josilo (200-1992) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Nikola Jovic (208-2003, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Bosnian-Croatian power forward Karlo Matkovic (208-2001, agency: BeoBasket) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Igokea moved-up to fifth place. Mega BG lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. Igokea will meet at home Zadar (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mega BG will play against Cedevita Ol. in Ljubljana and hope to secure a win.
