The game in Podgorica was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Serbian FMP BG (10-9) played at the court of eighth ranked Montenegrin SC Derby (9-11). SC Derby managed to secure a 9-point victory 85-76 on Monday. SC Derby dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to FMP BG's 34 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded FMP BG 34-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. SC Derby looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Erick Neal (178-1995, college: UT Arlington) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Bosnian center Kenan Kamenjas (207-2000, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) who recorded 15 points and 8 assists and forward Danilo Tasic (207-1993, agency: 011 Sports) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SC Derby maintains eighth place with 9-11 record. FMP BG lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. SC Derby will meet league's leader Crvena Zvezda in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FMP BG will play against Cibona (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
