Regular Season Round 28: Krka - Mega BG 62-79

There was no surprise in Novo Mesto where 14th ranked Slovenian Krka (4-22) was defeated by tenth ranked Serbian Mega BG (10-16) 79-62 on Friday. Mega BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mega BG made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Croatian power forward Karlo Matkovic (208-2001, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and Croatian Matej Rudan (207-2001, agency: BeoBasket) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Mega BG players scored in double figures. At the losing side Leon Stergar (193-2000) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Jurij Macura (211-1999, agency: BeoBasket) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mega BG moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Mornar. Krka lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games.
