Regular Season Round 4: Mornar - Partizan 62-83

Rather expected game in Bar where 5th ranked Montenegrin Mornar (2-2) was rolled over by top-ranked Serbian Partizan (4-0) 83-62 on Monday. Partizan forced 19 Mornar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Zach LeDay (202-1994, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Danilo Andjusic (194-1991, agency: BeoBasket) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side Serbian power forward Marko Pecarski (208-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-1990) scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Partizan have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Mornar dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. They share the position with Cibona. Partizan's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd Mega BG.
