Regular Season Round 5: Partizan - Mega BG 86-76

ABA League top team - Partizan (5-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Mega BG (0-5) in Beograd 86-76. Partizan looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Balsa Koprivica (215-2000, college: FSU) nailed 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Australian guard Dante Exum (198-1995) accounted for 10 points and 5 assists. Four Partizan players scored in double figures. Croatian Matej Rudan (208-2001, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 26 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian center Danko Brankovic (215-2000, agency: BeoBasket) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for Mega BG in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Loser Mega BG still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Borac CA. Partizan will meet Borac CA (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mega BG will play against SC Derby and hopes to get finally their first victory.
