Regular Season Round 8: Buducnost - Cibona 97-76

Montenegrin Buducnost's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team.They used home court advantage to defeat Croatian Cibona (0-1) 97-76. Buducnost made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian forward Aleksandar Lazic (203-1996, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-1995, college: Vermont, agency: BeoBasket) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Point guard Borna Kapusta (182-1996, agency: AltusBasket) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and center Kresimir Ljubicic (210-1998, agency: AltusBasket) scored 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Montenegrin champion (1-0) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with 18 other teams. Defending Croatian champion Cibona still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with 18 other teams. Buducnost will play against Partizan (#50) in Beograd in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Cibona will play at home against Cedevita Ol. (#19) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
