Regular Season Round 10: Buducnost - SC Derby 88-76

There was no surprise in Podgorica where 8th ranked SC Derby (4-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Buducnost (6-4) 88-76 on Saturday. Buducnost made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. American Cameron Reynolds (201-1995, college: Tulane) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian-Serbian Marko Jagodic-Kuridza (205-1987, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-1993, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Loren Jackson (173-1996, college: Akron) scored 16 points and 8 assists. SC Derby's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zadar. Loser SC Derby keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Mornar. Buducnost will meet Mornar (#9) in the next round. SC Derby will play against Cedevita Ol. and hope to secure a win.
