Regular Season Round 12: Buducnost - Mega BG 79-66

Very expected game in Podgorica where 12th ranked Serbian Mega BG (3-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (8-4) 79-66 on Sunday. Buducnost made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Bosnian forward Aleksandar Lazic (203-1996, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 18 points. Aleksa Ilic (203-1996, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ukrainian Oleksadr Kobzystyi (200-2003) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian center Danko Brankovic (215-2000, agency: BeoBasket) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Buducnost have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains fifth position with 8-4 record. Mega BG lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Borac CA. Buducnost will meet Borac CA (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mega BG will play against Cedevita Ol. and hope to secure a win.
