Regular Season Round 14: Mega BG - FMP BG 77-72

One of the most interesting games of round 14 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Beograd where twelfth ranked Mega BG won against visiting FMP BG (10-4) 77-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of FMP BG. FMP BG was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Croatian Matej Rudan (208-2001, agency: BeoBasket) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian Nikola Djurisic (203-2004, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Mega BG players scored in double figures. American guard Trent Frazier (188-1998, college: Illinois) responded with 29 points and his fellow American import Beau Beech (203-1994, college: UNF) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mega BG maintains twelfth position with 4-10 record. FMP BG at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Mega BG will play against higher ranked Igokea (#9) in Aleksandrovac in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. FMP BG will play at home against Borac CA (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
