Regular Season Round 25: Partizan - Igokea 89-74

Very expected game in Beograd where 10th ranked Bosnian Igokea (9-15) was defeated by first ranked Serbian Partizan (22-2) 89-74 on Monday. Guard Aleksa Avramovic (192-1994) stepped up and scored 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and Australian guard Dante Exum (198-1995) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Serbian power forward Stefan Djordjevic (206-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Nenad Nerandzic (203-1996) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-2 record. Defending Bosnian champion Igokea keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Partizan will meet Buducnost (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Igokea will play against Mornar (#12) in Bar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
