Regular Season Round 2: Mornar - Buducnost 61-87

There was no surprise in Bar where Mornar was crushed by Buducnost 87-61 on Saturday. Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Mornar's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard McKinley Wright IV (183-1998, college: Colorado) scored 16 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center JaCorey Williams (203-1994, college: MTSU) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Serbian-French center Alexandre Gavrilovic (208-1991, college: Towson) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Milic Starovlah (200-1998) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Buducnost will meet at home Krka in the next round where they are favorite. Mornar will play against Zadar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
