Regular Season Round 3: FMP BG - Mega BG 73-83

There was a minor upset when FMP BG (1-2) lost to Mega BG (1-2) in Beograd 73-83 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Nikola Topic (198-2005) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists. Forward Uros Plavsic (213-1998, college: Tennessee) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Aleksa Stepanovic (206-1998) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and French guard Hugo Besson (191-2001) added 13 points respectively for FMP BG in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. FMP BG's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mega BG's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd Partizan.
