The game in Beograd was also quite interesting. 7th ranked CroatianZadar (3-3) played at the court of eighth ranked Serbian Mega BG (3-3). Mega BG defeated Zadar 91-81 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Zadar. Mega BG made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Mega BG had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Nikola Topic (198-2005) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and forward Uros Plavsic (213-1998, college: Tennessee) supported him with 23 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). Even 26 points by Bosnian forward Dario Dreznjak (204-1998) did not help to save the game for Zadar . Luka Bozic (200-1996) added 19 points and 9 rebounds. Mega BG moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Zadar and FMP BG.
