Regular Season Round 25: Buducnost - Partizan 83-89

The most interesting game of round 25 was a home defeat of 3rd placed MontenegrinBuducnost (18-7) to second ranked Serbian Partizan (19-6) 89-83 in the game for the second place. Partizan made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. American-Serbian Kevin Punter (192-1993, college: Tennessee) stepped up and scored 19 points and 9 assists for the winners and American-Azerbaijani power forward Zach LeDay (202-1994, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Partizan players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bosnian center Kenan Kamenjas (207-2000) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Fletcher Magee (193-1996, college: Wofford) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 19-6 record having just two points less than leader Crvena Zvezda. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost keeps the third position with seven games lost.
