Regular Season Round 6: Borac CA - Split 61-73

Everything could happen in Cacak at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked CroatianSplit and 10th ranked Serbian Borac had identical 2-3 record. But Borac was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Split 73-61 . Split brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Forward David Skara (203-1995, college: Clemson) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Split's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bosnian-Serbian forward Marko Josilo (200-1992) replied with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Djordje Gagic (210-1990) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Borac.
