Regular Season Round 6: Mega BG - Igokea 64-73

There was a minor upset in Beograd where one of their biggest challengers SerbianMega BG (4-2) was defeated by seventh ranked Bosnian Igokea (4-2) 73-64 . Igokea forced 20 Mega BG turnovers. It was a good game for American point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) who led his team to a victory with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import swingman Sacar Anim (196-1997, college: Marquette) contributed with 10 points for the winners. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) added 14 points in the effort for Mega BG. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Crvena zvezda and Mega BG.
