Regular Season Round 17: Mornar Bar - Un.Olimpija 93-70

The game with biggest result difference took place in Bar. Local Mornar Bar (6-11) outscored 7th ranked Slovenian Un.Olimpija (7-10) 93-70. The game was mostly controlled by Mornar Bar. Un.Olimpija was better in third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Mornar Bar players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. FYR Macedonian center Vukota Pavic (203-93) nailed 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American center Octavius Ellis (208-93, college: Cincinnati) accounted for 19 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Mornar Bar's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mirko Mulalic (195-88) came up with 18 points and Serbian Nikola Jankovic (207-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Un.Olimpija in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mornar Bar moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Zadar and FMP. Un.Olimpija at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Mornar Bar's next round opponent will be FMP (#9) in Beograd.
