Regular Season Round 19: MZT Skopje - Olimpija 55-96

The game with biggest result difference took place in Skopje. Local MZT Skopje (3-16) was outscored by eleventh ranked Slovenian Olimpija (7-12) 96-55. Olimpija players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a quality performance for American forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Gregor Hrovat (196-94) accounted for 12 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Olimpija players scored in double figures. Power forward Bojan Trajkovski (208-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) came up with 12 points and Damjan Stojanovski (198-87, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for MZT Skopje in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Igokea. MZT Skopje lost their third game in a row. Defending FYR Macedonian champion stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Olimpija's next round opponent will be higher ranked Partizan (#5) in Beograd and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MZT Skopje will play on the road against the league's second-placed Buducnost (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
