Regular Season Round 3: MZT Skopje - Pelister 80-64

One of the most interesting games of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from North Macedonia. MZT Skopje won against visiting Pelister (1-2) 80-64. MZT Skopje made 22-of-29 charity shots (75.9 percent) during the game. MZT Skopje outrebounded Pelister 42-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: WKU, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Nikola Malesevic (202-89, college: URI) with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Serbian center Igor Kesar (210-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) scored 15 points. MZT Skopje will play against Osijek (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Pelister will play against Vojvodina NS (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
