Regular Season Round 14: FMP BG - Buducnost 88-91

Eighth-ranked SerbianFMP BG (7-7) gave a tough game to second ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (12-2) in Beograd on Saturday. The visitors from Podgorica managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88 . However their fans expected much easier game. Buducnost shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by FMP BG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Bosnian center Kenan Kamenjas (207-2000) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard McKinley Wright IV (182-1998, college: Colorado) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Joshua Scott (185-1998, college: Thomas Univ.) responded with 21 points and swingman Nikola Saranovic (200-2003, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points. Five Buducnost and four FMP BG players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Buducnost have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending Montenegrin champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Partizan and Crvena zvezda. FMP BG at the other side keeps the eighth place with seven games lost.
