Syria U19 and Canada U19 lost the openers of the FIBA U19 World Championship and hoped to better their positions in Day 2. The North American representative had a fabulous game to take 99:53 victory. Jordan Baker, Tristan Thompson and Laurent Bivard paced all the winners with 13 points each. Hani Adribe ended up with 12, points in the losing effort, while Jabe and Belal Gneed had 9 apiece.
