Australia has kept their unbeaten record at the FIBA U19 World Championship in Day 3. The team from Oceania overcame Syria 96:54 to finish Group C with 3-0 record. Australia will play now the top three teams from Group D: Croatia, Argentina and Kazakhstan, while Syria will play in the Classification Round. Matthew Hodgson top-scored for the winners with 17 points, while Mitchell Young nailed 14. Motum followed them with 13 points to remain unbeaten with the team. Mahmoud Osfira erupted with 20 points in the losing case and Tarek Al Jabe scored 18 points.
