Quarter-Finals Day 7: FRANCE - AUSTRALIA 73-79

Australia stretched their unbeaten run to 7 games at the U19 World Championship in New Zealand. They held off France in a thrilling quarterfinal clash today to remain in the title race. Matthew Dellavedova produced 18 points including a much-needed three-pointer late in regulation to pace the Emus. Australia will face Greece in the semifinal tomorrow. France will play against Argentina in the classification games for 5th-8th spot. Cody Ellis had 14 points and 10 board for Australia. Brock Motum contributed 11 points for the winners. Christophe Leonard replied with 22 points and 13 boards for France. Andrew Albicy and Nicolas Lang delivered 17 points apiece in defeat.
