Semi-Finals Game 8: PUERTO RICO - CANADA 67-65

Puerto Rico claimed a narrow win over Canada at the U19 World Championship in New Zealand. Jiovanny Fontan hit a jumper with under 3 seconds to go in regulation to secure a tough victory for a Carlos Calcano team. The Latin American outfit will now face Argentina for the fifth position at the tourney. Canada will play against France in their final game in Auckland. Jiovanny Fontan knocked down 16 points to lead Puerto Rico. Raymond Cintron and Michael Rosario added 10 points each in the win. Mangisto Arop responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds for Canada. Tristan Thompson had 13 points and 11 boards in defeat.
