Preliminary Round Day 2: LITHUANIA - SOUTH KOREA 117-64

Lithuania overcame South Korea in Day 2 of the FIBA U19 World Championship. The Blatic State destroyed the opponent from Asia 117:64 at the Preliminary Round. Lithuania started well and grabbed easily 33-11 after the first 10 minutes. They added 30-21 in the second period for massive 63:33 halftime advantage. In the second half the Baltic team looked also better and produced 31-12 and 23-20 in the third and the last periods respectively. Valanciunas Jonas stepped up with 25 points and 17 rebounds for the winners, while Cizauskas Vytenis collected 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Butkevicius Arnas followed them with 15, while Ulanovas Edgaras notched 13. Kim Jun-Yl chipped in 13 points in the losing effort and Lee Seounghyun had 12. Lithuania improved to 1-1 record and will play tomorrow with Canada. South Korea suffered their second loss to face Croatia in Day 3.
