Lithuania U19, that is one of the favorites of the World Championships U19 won another game to win Group C in Liepaja. The Baltic State won over Canada U19 111:68 for 2-1 record. Lithuania did not wait and showed their superiority from the very beginning. The Baltic State grabbed 29-13 after the first 10 minutes and never looked behind. Moreover they added 32-15 in the second period to take 61:28 at the halftime. Lithuania did not slow down and won also the third and the last periods. They produced 23-22 in the third period and added 27-18 in the last frame. Vytenis Cizauskas stepped up with 22 points and Jonas Valanciunas netted 15. Egidijus Mockevicius ended up with 13 points and Edgaras Ulanovas delivered 12. Dyshawn Pierre delivered 10 in the losing effort, while Sim Bhullar and Philip Scrubb scored 8 each. Both teams advanced to the next stage of the competition.
