Spain claimed the second straight win at the U19 World Championship in Prague. Dario Brizuela nailed 20 points as the Spaniards coasted past South Korea for 2-0 record in Group A. The Korean team fell at 0-2 record after the loss. South Korea surprised Spain with a brisk start. The Asian team enjoyed a 21:20 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Spain however turned all the engines on in the second frame. The European powerhouse went on a 29:14 run to secure a comfortable 49:35 halftime lead. Spain kept South Korea at bay throughout the third term. They accumulated a 25-point buffer before the final period. Spain went on to score 30 points in the fourth quarter and sealed a comprehensive win at the end. Jose Nogues and Guillermo Hernangomez finished with 14 points each, while Saiz added 12 points and 15 boards for the winners. Park Intae answered with 13 points, while Sangjae Kang had 12 points in the loss.
