Second Stage Day 2: SPAIN - ARGENTINA 74-58

Spain clinched the fifth straight win at the U19 World Championship. They overcame Argentina to secure 5-0 record on top of Group E. Argentina slipped at 1-4 record. Dario Brizuela nailed 17 points to pace the winners. Argentina looked better in the opening ten minutes. The Latin American team gained a 16:12 lead after the starting period. Spain slowly adjusted their game in the second term. They got within three points at halftime 30:33. The European side capped the third term on a 14:1 run to take a 56:45 lead into the fourth period. Spain limited Argentina to 13 points in the final stanza and rallied to the victory at the end. Guillermo Hernangomez delivered 16 points, while Javier Marin had 12 points for Spain. Matias Bernardini answered with 18 points for Argentina. Rodrigo Haag had 8 points in the loss.
