Finals Game 1: JAPAN - CANADA 64-75

Canada finished 7th in Lithuania at the U19 World Championship. The North American side overcame Japan 75:64 in the game for 7-8 places. Canada started the game with 23-14 lead and never looked behind after. They added 22-19 in the second frame and enjoyed a 43:31 lead after Dornstauder Quinn shot. Kawamura Miyuki pulled Japan back to 58:54 after 30 minutes and Nakamura Yunika later cut it to 63:62. Canada however pushed the tempo at the end of the game and won the last game. Weisner Jamie top-scored for the winners with 20 points and 16 rebounds, while Dornstauder Quinn netted 14. Wolfram Emma delivered 12, whilst Grant-Allen Saicha and Potter Emily had 8 each. Kawamura Miyuki answered with 18 points in defeat and Kuma Misato netted 12. Nakamura Yunika poured in 11, whilst Tamura Mirai had 8.
