Angola eked out a narrow win over South Korea to finish 13th at the championship. Silvio de Souza came up with 27 points and 21 boards to lead the winners. South Korea grabbed an 18:11 lead after ten minutes. Angola however denied the deficit to eke out a 28:27 halftime lead. South Korea drained 19 points in the third term to regain the advantage. However the seesaw action continued in the final term. Angola limited the Asian side to just 10 points to snatch win. Childe Dundao tossed in 12 points in the victory. Jea-Min Yang responded with 17 points and 15 rebounds for South Korea.
