Serbia & Montenegro wins the EC for Cadets !
With a terrific third quarter (30-16), the Serbians confirmed their superiority over all the other countries and beat Turkey in the Final by 68-83. Milenko Tepic (197-F-87), with 31 points and 9 rebounds, and Dragan Labovic, with 27, where the heros for the champion team. Meanwhile, the Russian NT got the Bronze medal after rolling over Spain by 90-72.

Serbia and Turkey will face each other in the Finals of the European Championship for Cadets. Serbia has a very easy way to the Finals after defeating Russia by 26 points in the Semi Finals, 89-63. Just like in the Juniors WC the hosting team lost by a very small margin in the Semi Finals and will play for the Bronze medal. Turkey, without Ersan Ilyasova, beat the hosting team of Spain 76-74 and will try to capture the gold vs. Serbia. Both Turkey and Serbia didn't lose a single game so far in the Championship. Turkey, still without their best player, and by far one of the best in the championship - Ersan Ilyasova that got injured during the games, managed to beat Spain thanks to a great finish in the last quarter.
