Malta thumped Albania in the opener. They recorded a 31-16 halftime lead. Malta extended the lead to 18 points at the final break and never looked back en route to the win. Anna Pace (175-SF-2006) stepped up with 18 points and 17 rebounds in the victory. Medina Hykaj (173-F-2007) answered with 12 points for Albania.

Cyprus - Moldova 81-40
Cyprus eased past Moldova for the first win in Korce. Evdokia Patsalidou (163-G-2006) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds in the win. Cyprus grabbed a 38-4 lead after ten minutes. They maintained the lead throughout the next three quarters and raced to the win. Georgia Michael (172-G-2006) had 12 points in the victory. Avelina Glavan (165-G-2006) answered with 22 points for Moldova.
