Moldova - Armenia 43-61
Armenia fired past Moldova to open win count in Korce. Armenia posted a 33-17 halftime advantage. They went on a 16-12 run in the third term to clear off for good. Seda Gabrielyan (167-G-2007) notched 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals for the winners. Lia Krumian (2006) added 10 points for Armenia. Avelina Glavan (165-G-2006) answered with 20 points and 14 rebounds for Moldova.

Albania - Andorra 48-66
Andorra opened win count in Group A. They knocked down Albania in the opener. Andorra recorded a 32-20 halftime lead. They controlled the tempo in the second half and raced to the victory. Laura Limones (2006) tossed in 18 points, while Andrea Cobo (2007) added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Katja Beqai answered with 11 points for Albania.
