Division C. Cyprus celebrate title in Korce

Armenia - Cyprus 42-58
Cyprus won Division C title. They outgunned Armenia in the Final in Korce tonight. Cyprus recorded a narrow 20-17 halftime lead. They went on a decisive 27-5 run in the third term to clear off for good. Evdokia Patsalidou (163-G-2006) came up with 17 points, while Georgia Michael (172-G-2006) added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the champions. Seda Gabrielyan (167-G-2007) replied with 18 points for Armenia.

3-4 Place

Malta - Andorra 64-47
Malta earned the third position at the tournament. They rallied past Andorra in the consolation final. Malta claimed a 31-26 halftime lead. They went on a strong 33-21 second half run to ice the win. Sara Pace (175-F-2007) came up with 22 points and 15 rebounds for Malta. Andrea Cobo (2007) delivered 16 points and 10 rebounds for Andorra.

5-6 Place

Moldova - Albania 52-61
Albania wrapped up their Division C campaign on a winning note. They beat Moldova to finish in the fifth position. Albania eked out a 22-20 halftime lead. Moldova tied things up at 43 heading into the fourth quarter. But Albania responded with an 18-9 run in the final stanza to seal the win. Medina Hykaj (173-F-2007) delivered 16 points for Albania. Avelina Glavan (165-G-2006) replied with 31 points for Moldova.
