Quarterfinals

Denmark - United Kingdom 61-86
Great Britain outgunned Denmark to secure the semifinal berth. Denmark posted a 17-14 lead after ten minutes. But Great Britain responded with a 23-12 rally in the second term to take a 37-29 halftime advantage. Great Britain followed with a 31-10 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Irene Oboavwoduo (177-G-2008) came up with 26 points to lead the winners. Emilie Norregaard-Laursen (181-F-2008) answered with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Denmark.

Czech Republic - Slovakia 76-43
Czech Republic cruised past their neighbors Slovakia in the quarterfinal clash today. Tereza Tegelova (2008) came up with 15 points, while Anna Belacova contributed 13 points for the winners. Czech Republic went on a 41-14 second half rally to seal the win. Michaela Oravcova (176-F-2008) had 10 points for Slovakia.

Turkey - Austria 92-57
Turkey stormed past Austria to reach the semifinal in Konya. Turkey piled up a comfortable 47-29 halftime advantage. They sank 45 points in the second half and raced to the win. Defne Cinar (164-PG-2008) accounted for 17 points, while Berfin Sahin (194-C-2008) added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Sophie Kunert (2009) answered with 16 points for Austria.

Lithuania - Romania 66-77
Romania outlasted Lithuania to secure the semifinal berth. Romania went on a massive 44-28 first half rally to clear off for good. Ioana-Vanessa Velcea (174-PG-2009) came up with 29 points and 7 rebounds for Romania. Gabija Galvanauskaite (178-SF-2009) responded with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Lithuania.
