Romania held off Turkey in the semifinal clash today and therefore secured Division A promotion. Turkey enjoyed a 21-16 halftime lead. But Romania went on a 22-11 rally in the fourth period to ice the victory. Alexia-Ioana Marcus (180-F-2009) tossed in 13 points for Romania. Ayse Demirer (185-F/C-2009) netted 11 points and collected 11 rebounds in the loss.

United Kingdom - Czech Republic 61-65
Czech Republic held off United Kingdom to ensure the Final berth in Konya. Czech Republic went on a 21-12 rally in the first period. They followed with a strong 15-7 run in the fourth term to seal the victory. Barbora Subova (2008) came up with 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Czech side. Athena Thompson (175-G-2008) responded with 24 points for United Kingdom.
